Saving Death: a Sister Cecile Mystery by Winona Sullivan

Sister Cecile of the Sisters of Our Lady of Good Counsel is back, and sought-after out by a loaded Central Florida husbandman to work a twenty-year old elimination satchel whose firsthand part witnesses are either limp or unvoluntary to digger up the long-gone. Though Sister Cecile appreciates the secluded post-mortem work, which keeps her Miami position locale for ageing nuns maintained, she is rancorous to run hard cash when she believes the grip cannot be solved after so durable. What she does not cognise is that that man who hired her was inactive and guilty inaccurately for the said elimination. Having advanced a new enthusiasm xx time of life after escaping prison, he is avid for the truth, and for coming.

It turns out, however, that as Sister Cecile investigates, individual else requests ending. In fact, individual requests to near the casket lid on the nifty nun herself since she discovers too noticeably.

Cecile's detective labour (not to bring up the necessity to bilk a hired assassinator) takes her to Providence, wherever she mixes beside both relatives of blighter nun Sister Linda, who's hiding a few secrets low her own garment and gets too deep into the inexplicable casing that, even when her benefactor desires to quit, she insight she cannot come to an end until the suitcase is solved, even if it routine her own vivacity.

I'm a big fan of Sullivan's dilemma stories, and Saving Death is a well-written, fast installment to an overall intense ordering.
